What is Radiesse® décolletage?

Radiesse® is an established injectable treatment containing calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) – a substance found naturally in the body. For the décolletage, Amanda uses the hyperdilute protocol: the product is diluted and placed as a fine, even layer across the chest to improve skin quality, rather than to create volume.

The goal is precise: stimulate your skin’s own regenerative response, so firmness, texture and lines improve progressively – a rejuvenated chest, not a “filled” one.

Why does the décolletage crease so easily?

The skin across the chest is thinner and more delicate than facial skin, receives significant cumulative sun exposure, and moves constantly – and side-sleeping compounds the creasing night after night. Over time, declining collagen, elasticity and skin thickness make lines and texture more visible.

Creams can hydrate the surface. But when the concern is the underlying structure and quality of the skin, treatment needs to work at a deeper level. That’s where Radiesse® comes in.

How it works, and what you’ll notice

The CaHA microspheres act as a scaffold that stimulates fibroblast activity – your skin’s own collagen and elastin production.

• Initially: the treated area typically looks smoother and better hydrated as the treatment set tles.
• Over the following weeks: collagen production builds; firmness and texture improve progres sively, with the main transformation developing over 8–12 weeks.
• Longer term: results can last up to 18 months in many patients, because the improvement is your own regenerated collagen – though longevity varies with skin, lifestyle and individual response. Amanda will discuss realistic expectations and maintenance at consultation.

Most patients need 1–2 sessions, then maintenance when results naturally soften.

Who is it for – and who is it not for?

Radiesse® décolletage may be right for you if you’re concerned about crepey chest skin, décolletage lines, sleep lines, sun damage or loss of firmness.

But not everyone needs Radiesse® – and that matters here. Amanda assesses your skin and medical history before recommending anything. If another treatment would serve you better, she’ll tell you. That honesty is the point of the consultation.

Radiesse® or Profhilo® – which is right for my chest?

There isn’t one treatment that’s right for every décolletage. Both improve skin quality; they work differently:

• Radiesse® – when collagen stimulation, firmness and skin structure are the priority.
• Profhilo® – when hydration and overall skin quality are the primary concern.
• A combination or sequence – sometimes the best plan uses both, or pairs treatment with LaseMD Ultra for surface texture and sun damage.

What happens during treatment?

The area is assessed and prepared, with numbing available for comfort. Radiesse® is then administered in the diluted protocol according to your plan and anatomy. Treatment takes around 30–45 minutes. Most people return to normal activities the same day; temporary redness, swelling, small bumps, tenderness or bruising can occur for a few days. You’ll receive personal aftercare advice – diligent sun protection afterwards is essential.
