What are cherry angiomas?

Cherry angiomas, sometimes called blood spots, are benign lesions on the surface of the skin. They are completely harmless and formed by clusters of tiny blood vessels, which give the lesions their deep red colour.

Cherry Angioma Removal at Amanda Azzopardi Liverpool

We perform cherry angioma removal procedures using a Plasma Pen.

The Plasma Pen uses nitrous oxide to remove small skin imperfections quickly. A small scab remains, which will drop off after a few days.

The device used to perform the procedure has one millimetre precision, ensuring no damage to healthy tissue or the surrounding skin.

Cherry angioma removal causes minimal discomfort, as we always use numbing cream.

No downtime is required, and healing is rapid.

Will there be any scarring?

There may be a tiny, silvery scar after the scab has fallen off, but it will be barely visible and will fade completely with time.

I lost 4lb in weight overnight after having it done . I was put in a beautiful room whilst relaxing music was played. I was then zipped into  an inflatable suit . It was painfree.
