How do fat-dissolving injections work?

Aqualyx fat-dissolving injections contain a carefully formulated solution that stimulates a process called lipolysis, breaking down fat cells in the treated area.

Once the fat cells have been broken down, the body treats them as waste products, and the lymphatic system flushes them away.

During your treatment session, Amanda will inject the solution directly into stubborn pockets of fat.

Where can Aqualyx be used?

Patients at our Buckley aesthetics clinic love the sculpting and contouring effects of fat dissolving injections all over the body, including the following areas:

chin, jawline, thighs, knees, back, stomach, arms, waist

How many treatment sessions will I need to achieve the desired result?

The number of sessions required at our North Wales clinic will depend on the size of the treatment area and whether you have one or more stubborn pockets of fat.

Typically, patients require multiple sessions to achieve their desired results.

Will I need any downtime?

This is a minimally invasive procedure that requires minimal downtime.

You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the injection sites, but these side effects will subside within a few days.

Is Aqualyx treatment painful?

We always use local anaesthetic cream to numb the treatment area, but Amanda is so experienced at delivering this treatment that she can keep you relaxed and comfortable throughout.

How quickly will I see the results?

The results of this gentle treatment are gradual.

It can take a few weeks for your body to metabolise the debris from the dissolved fat cells fully, but soon you will notice that those stubborn pockets of fat are smoother and reducing in size.

After a few months of treatment, you will be delighted with your new, sleek silhouette.

Are the results of fat reduction injections permanent?

Once the fat cells in the treated area have been dissolved and removed by the body, they cannot grow back. However, it is not possible – or desirable – to remove all your fat cells, and those that remain retain the capacity to store more fat in the future.

A combination of a balanced diet and regular exercise can help prolong the benefits of this long-lasting treatment, targeting stubborn pockets of fat.

Amamda takes a holistic and personalised approach to all her patients, and she can advise you on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle to preserve your ideal body.

Am I a good candidate for Aqualyx in North Wales?

If you are interested in fat-dissolving injections, your next step is to book a consultation with Amanda.

Amanda will discuss your concerns and advise you on how Aqualyx could help you achieve your aesthetic goals. Typically, she will suggest Aqulayx as a suitable treatment for patients who have pockets of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise.

Aqualyx is an excellent solution for many patients, as it offers a non-surgical alternative to more invasive treatments while still delivering exceptional results.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you will not be a suitable candidate for Aqualyx fat-dissolving injections.

Occasionally, Amanda will advise against treatment for patients with specific health issues.

Is Aqualyx a weight loss treatment?

This non-invasive injectable treatment is designed for body contouring in specific areas of the body rather than weight loss.

Aqualyx treatment will give you a sleeker body and help you to fit into your favourite trousers, but it is not intended to be used to remove significant amounts of weight. In fact, the best results are achieved on patients at or near their target weight.

How much do fat dissolving injections cost at the Buckley Aesthetics Clinic in North Wales?

Prices start from £100, but it is not possible to give a truly indicative cost as every patient has their own bespoke treatment.

Premium treatment like that at our Buckley clinic comes at a cost, so we like to help you to feel and look your best always by offering a range of finance options.
